ReSound Sensia: features & benefits
Sense, focus, engage: ReSound calls Sensia’s approach ‘Intelligent All-Around’. Three technologies work together. AcoustIQ senses your surroundings in real time. 4-microphone focus brings forward the voice you turn your head towards. AI noise reduction keeps speech clear while making background noise feel softer and more natural. The sensing and 4-microphone focus are included at every technology level. The full trio works automatically on the top technology level of the rechargeable microRIE.
A boost when you need it: If a situation gets too much, a simple swipe in the ReSound Smart 3D app adds extra noise reduction on supported models, for more focus and comfort.
Streaming and Auracast: Stream phone calls, music and TV directly to your hearing aids using the latest Bluetooth LE Audio. Sensia also supports Auracast, a new broadcast technology that lets you listen in to audio in public places such as theatres, airports and places of worship as venues adopt it. Streaming works on every style except the custom CIC.
Hands-free calls: Answer and end calls with a tap of the ear on compatible iPhones and Android phones. This works on the RIE styles and the rechargeable custom styles.

ReSound Sensia RIE hearing aids
In an RIE (Receiver-In-Ear) hearing aid, the main part sits discreetly behind the ear and a thin wire carries sound to a small speaker in the ear canal. Sensia’s RIE styles come in 10 colours.
ReSound Sensia microRIE
The top of the line model. An incredibly small rechargeable RIE with AI, 6% smaller than its closest competitor (not including the Beltone Illuminate – ReSound’s sister brand). It gives up to 24 hours from a single charge and simply drops into its charger with no connectors to line up. A button lets you change volume or programmes, and a small light confirms when it switches on and off.
ReSound Sensia RIE (battery)
For people who would rather not recharge, Sensia also comes in an RIE style that runs on standard disposable batteries, with the same Bluetooth streaming and Auracast support.
ReSound Sensia CROS and Bimodal
For people with little or no usable hearing in one ear, a CROS microRIE picks up sound on the weaker side and sends it to the hearing aid on the better ear. Sensia Bimodal is designed for people who wear a Cochlear Nucleus cochlear implant sound processor on one side and a hearing aid on the other, so the two work together smoothly.

Sensia custom hearing aids are made from an impression of your ears, taken by your local Amplify audiologist, so they sit comfortably inside the ear with nothing behind it. They come in 6 colours to blend in with your skin tone.
ReSound Sensia ITE (rechargeable)
The largest custom style, filling the outer bowl of the ear. That makes it the easiest to use if you find small devices hard to handle. It’s rechargeable and includes Bluetooth streaming and hands-free calls.
ReSound Sensia ITC (rechargeable)
A smaller In-The-Canal style that sits lower in the ear, so it’s less noticeable. It’s rechargeable and includes Bluetooth streaming and hands-free calls.
ReSound Sensia ITC (battery)
The same discreet In-The-Canal shape, running on disposable batteries. It still streams via Bluetooth, but doesn’t support hands-free calls.
ReSound Sensia CIC
The smallest custom Sensia, sitting deep in the ear canal for maximum discretion. To keep it small Sensia CIC has no wireless features, so there’s no streaming or app control.

TV-Streamer+: Sends the TV sound straight to your hearing aids, so you can choose your own volume without turning it up for everyone else. It supports Auracast.
Multi-Mic+: Place it on the table or clip it to the person you’re talking to, and their voice is sent directly to your hearing aids from up to 25 metres away. It’s ideal for noisy restaurants, meetings and talks, and it now has a replaceable battery.
Chargers: Premium portable chargers for the microRIE, and dedicated chargers for the rechargeable custom styles.
